A percussive groove permeates “Walkin’ A Wire,” the second single from Pete Scobell Band’s album of the same name. Pete Scobell, who came to fame for his “Hearts I Leave Behind” promo single a year ago, showcases his strong voice on “Walkin’ A Wire” as he sings descriptive lyrics about all the ways he would live his life to be with the woman of his dreams.
The song might be an even better single than “Wild,” a song which Scobell released prior to the Walkin’ A Wire album release, which says something to me because “Wild” was one of our top singles released in all of 2015. That means if radio and other outlets like streaming services and SiriusXM give Pete Scobell Band a shot, “Walkin’ A Wire” could be his major break-out hit.
