Like Reba and Dolly before her, Carrie Underwood will carry on the country music tradition of sending its starts to the big screen as she's agreed to join the cast of an upcoming film. She joins co-stars Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt for the film directed by Sean McNamara.

With today’s announcement, Sugarland is setting to embark on a headlining tour that will take them to 55 cities over the course of this year. The tour, dubbed The Incredible Machine will begin on April 23, 2010 and run through at least August 20, 2010
