We first heard of this newcomer earlier this year when she released the playful "Catching Fireflies" and now she's back with the powerful ballad "Stay." The beautifully shot music video (watch above) showcases the singer's formidable vocals that recall Celine Dion and Kellie Coffey. There's also the emotively raw lyric (read here) that was likely originally written about a relationship but one that could really about be about losing a cherished love one, be it a husband, a child, a parent or more. It's that kind of versatile song. The production, from Kent Wells (Dolly Parton), perfectly frames the song and showcases the independent Smith as a clear talent to watch.
