The lone new song on his new Do You Know Me: A Tribute To George Jones album, "The Route That I Took" is a loving tribute in itself to both George Jones and Sammy's own career. Sammy Kershaw grew up admiring George Jones from the time he was a little boy so the fact that he's the closest vocal doppelgänger that we have to the late great "Greatest Country Singer of All Time," is a treasure in its own right.

The rest of Do You Know Me features some of George Jones most classic songs, like "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and "The Race Is On." The album debuted at #37 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart this week.
