43rd CMA Awards

The second installment of our five-part series CMA Award prediciton and preview focuses on the Vocal Group of the year, the Vocal Duo of the Year  and New Artist of the Year.  

Over the next few days, Roughstock will be previewing the CMA Awards telecast with some predictions for the major categories.  Today we look over the Music Video of the Year and Music Event of the Year nominees and offer our thoughts on how they stack up.

The CMA announced their latest round of performers for the 43rd edition of the Country Music Assoication Awards.  Tim McGraw and Vince Gill were announced along with six other acts, including rock band Daughtry.  Should a rock band be allowed on a country show?
