We generally like to keep a positive spin on things in these virtual pages but sometimes it just feels good to 'come clean' and 'shout to the world' about some songs that truly felt like the 'stinkers' of 2009. 

Yep, it's the last week of the year and that means the ever-present "Best of 2009" lists on websites and in magazines.  We're no different with our lists but what we include on our lists may in fact surprise a few people. 

We've hit the Top 20 on our 'best of 2009' list and rather than keep you waiting for daily run-downs, we've kept everything short and sweet, just to give you a quick blurb about why we like the songs.  Feel free to leave a comment if you so desire.

Country star Taylor Swift  has a new song that is set to be featured in her new romantic comedy Valentine's Day this coming February.  The film  soundtrack will also include a new song from Jewel's second country album and a track from Steel Magnolia.

Jimmy Wayne scored his record deal by singing "Sara Smile" so it's only natural that he'd eventually release that song on an album and as a single.  How does the rest of the album stand-up to the remake of a classic pop song?
