Annie Bosko Releases Self-titled Debut EP for Stone Country Records

The new EP from one of our Ones to Watch in 2024 features five songs, including “Neon Baby,” Annie’s first country radio single for her new record label, Stone Country Records.

An artist long on our radar, Annie Bosko has reached the country music big leagues as she’s released her debut EP from her new record deal with Stone Country Records, part of the new music label group founded by hit songwriter Jason Sellers and the founders of powerhouse label group Broken Bow. Annie, for her part, has been hard at work honing in on a sound which is uniquely her own as she’s leaned into the spirit of 90s country music and is ready to lead a revival of that sound in the mainstream.

The Annie Bosko EP features five songs, three of which Annie co-wrote with the likes of Derek George, Jeffrey Steele and Bridgette Tatum. The other two songs were written by hitmakers like Wynn Varble, Trent Tomlinson, Hannah Dasher, Terri Jo Box and Lainey Wilson. George co-produced the project with Mickey Jack Cones.

This new music pairs unabashed twang, clever wordplay and deep compassion with her longstanding diva-ready vocals which are capturing the timelessness of the 90s country sound with modern sensibilities.

“I don’t think I’ve been able to capture it all this well before,” Bosko admits. “There’s a beauty of getting to a place where you stop trying to please people or chase what you think is cool, and just do what’s in your heart. It’s about creating what you feel the world needs right now, and for me, I miss those songs that made me move to Nashville.”
