Luke Bryan Drops New Single “Southern & Slow” To Digital Outlets

Single hits as the country music icon continues to see “But I Got A Beer In My Hands” rise on the country radio charts.

Chart-topping country icon Luke Bryan (a five-time Entertainer of the Year) has released “Southern and Slow” across all digital platforms. The song is the third release from Luke’s forthcoming album and it was written by Matt Dragstrem, Josh Thompson and Chase McGill and produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens.

“‘Southern and Slow’ reflects on simple times,” said Luke. “Those picture-perfect moments like the sun setting behind a water tower, honey dripping off a spoon, well, it doesn’t get much country’er than that. Let’s slow it down southern style because this life seems to be moving faster than ever.”

While this single hits digital platforms, the previously-released “But I Got A Beer In My Hands” is currently at country radio as the follow-up single to the chart-topping “Country On,” the 30th #1 hit of Luke Bryan’s radio career. Both of these songs will also be on Luke’s as-yet-unannounced upcoming album.

Earlier this week, Luke announced the final dates of his record-breaking Las Vegas headlining engagement at Resorts World Theater and brings his Country On Tour home to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena this weekend.
