With over 30 million on-demand streams, “Gone Too Soon” from Andrew Jannakos certainly has made an immediate impact with country music fans. The single debuted at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, debuted within the Hot 100 chart and also scored a #1 debut on Billboard’s Emerging Artists Chart.
The heartfelt single, which Jannakos wrote with Jason Afable and Josh Bricker, became a TikTok sensation when it was teased last fall, garnering over 250k likes in quick succession. With all of this success, it’s only a matter of time before more radio stations add the song to their rotation as it becomes a hit in the traditional way, the only way it’s not already a hit.
