It's a great first week for Miranda Lambert with Wildcard, her latest release through Sony Music Nashville. The icon's album features "It All Comes Out In The Wash" and has scanned over 44k in pure sales so far. Hootie and the Blowfish's return album, Imperfect Circle, debuts at #2 with nearly 15k in pure sales. Not bad for a "legacy band" that was largely dormant for over a decade. Last week's #1, Old Dominion, slides to #3 this week with their self-titled third album. They've sold nearly 24k to date. Zac Brown band's The Owl sits at #4 with sales over 120k to date while Garth Brooks" Legacy, a bundle of some of his early albums on vinyl, sits at #5 with nearly 4k sold.
Sturgill Simpson leads the second half of the Top 10 with sales of 47k to date while The Mavericks debut with Play The Hits at #7. The album sold 3k in its opening frame. Brantley Gilbert's Fire & Brimstone sits at #8 with sales now at nearly 43k while at #9 we find the second of two new for 2019 releases from Cody Jinks. The Wanting has sold over 17k to date (his After The Fire is at #11 with nearly 19k to date while his Lifers has sold 56,500 to date. Cody's I'm Not The Devil has sold over 95k while 30 has sole nearly 27k and his bundle of After The Fire and The Wanting has sold 700 in one week (its first as a bundle) so far). Rounding out the Top 10 is Toby Keith's Greatest Hits: The Show Dog Years compilation album which is exactly as titled: the biggest hits of his career on his own record label (after years of being on virtually every Nashville-based UMG-affiliated label from 1993-2019).
