Colbie Caliat’s New Band Gone West Signs With Triple Tigers

Four piece band offers harmonic sound reminiscent of Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town and Fleetwood Mac.

After working together in support of Colbie Calliat’s last solo project The Malibu Sessions, Gone West was formed when Calliat, Justin Kawika Young and Danelle Reeves and Jason Reeves figured out the chemistry between the two couples was worth exploring. The quartet quickly wrote some new tunes which span the spectrum of their artistry with the song “Gone West” being a good primer for where the band comes from.

All based in Nashville with ties to the West Coast, the group was inspired to form after years of musical collaboration, touring and friendship after working together on earlier projects individually. Band member Justin Kawika tells Billboard, “The song and our band name, ‘GoneWest,’ explains where the band came from. We're all from west of Tennessee and when we're not in Nashville, chances are we've gone west -  back to Iowa, Texas, California or Hawaii. Each verse is about going to our significant other's hometown and bringing them to Nashville. It's autobiographical and our band's theme song.”

“Gone West” and three additional tracks are featured on TIDES, all exuding a creative synergy with impressive four-part harmonies, bright acoustic sounds and a laid back, California, WestCoast vibe.
