Dustin Lynch Invited To Join The Grand Ole Opry

Dustin Lynch is the latest artist to be invited to join The Grand Ole Opry as an official member.

Growing up in Tullahoma, Tennessee, Dustin Lynch was very aware of The Grand Ole Opry and what it meant to country music. And, now, as an artist, he knows how special it is to get the chance to play inside the hallowed circle of that stage. Finally, last night, Dustin was invited by Trace Adkins (a BBR Music Group label mate and Grand Ole Opry member) to become the next official member.

The singer behind “Small Town Boy” and “Cowboys and Angels,” Dustin Lynch has released three successful albums and has scored a string of hits like “Seein’ Red,” “Hell of a Night,” “Where It’s At,” “Mind Reader” and current single “Good Girl.” He also scored a few other moderate hits like “She Cranks My Tractor,” “Wild In Your Smile” and viral smash “Love Me Or Leave Me Alone.” Lynch is currently working on more new tracks for the follow-up to 2017’s Current Mood.

The Opry is fast becoming a joke, first it was Chris Young and now Dustin Lynch. These dudes don't even know what country is anymore, let's not talk about how the Opry will soon start complaining about them not meeting their performance requirement. It's a shame that he's about to be induced in an organization that includes country greats like Trisha Yearwood and the likes

I have industry insiders to the Opry.. and sadly, Chris Lane is going to be invited next. His label, Big Loud, is planning to offer a generous monetary gift to the Opry board.
