Superstar’s box set certified Platinum along with certification for singles from artists like Brett Eldredge, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and more.

For the final RIAA certifications of 2016, Garth Brooks leads the way with his The Ultimate Collection box set. Each disc on the set features different playlists of songs from his career and there’s also his latest project Gunslinger included as well. The albums certified Platinum include Old School, Midnight Fire, Cowboys, Anthems, RPMs, and Turn It Up along with Gunslinger. The two disc The Road live album was certified double Platinum. The box set itself has scanned nearly 500k copies to date but Target likely guaranteed 1,000,000 purchased thus the certifications here. Other albums being certified Platinum include Dierks Bentley’s Home, Riser and Feel That Fire releases. Additionally, Joey+Rory’s Hymns was certified Gold by the RIAA.

Platinum certifications for digital singles include Brett Eldredge’s “Beat Of The Music,” Jana Kramer’s “I Got The Boy,” Blake Shelton’s “She’s Got A Way With Words.” The Gold singles include Chris Stapleton’s “Fire Away,” “Traveller,” “Nobody To Blame” and “Parachute.” Finally, Craig Morgan’s “That’s What I Love About Sunday” and “International Harvester” were both certified Gold as well.

The RIAA announces certifications, which get submitted by labels, each month.
