It’s a Good Friday to be launching a new series as newcomer Carissa Leigh does exclusively through Roughstock today. The new talent — whose debut EP Blackbird earned accolades last year — launches #CoversGoneCountry in celebration of #FlashbackFriday.
In the exciting new series, Carissa will release covers every Friday of some of her favorite songs from all genres. Each song will have a country twist. The series kicks off with Carissa’s version (Watch Above) of the smash hit “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds.
Carissa is also hard at work on her new project with a lead single from it due to be released later this spring.
