Columbia Nashville’s Steven Lee Olsen has finally given fans a visual look at his autobiographical anthem with his new video for “Raised By A Good Time.” Produced and directed by Mason Dixon, the video (watch here) showcases the well-known songwriter’s strength as an artist with his lead single from his forthcoming debut album.
“‘Raised By A Good Time’ is a song I wrote a few years back with one of my best friends, Cary Barlowe. I think everyone has those memories from growing up where you and your friends were out, carefree, maybe past curfew, feeling like you were all getting away with stuff, and just being young. I really look at those days as moments that helped shape who I ultimately became, and I wanted the video to reflect the spirit of that,” said Steven.
The Canadian native has scored a pair of hits in his native land with “Now” and “Make Hay While The Sun Shines” before signing with Sony Nashville. He has appeared as an opening act with Chris Young at NYC’s “Best Buy Theater” and has co-written a song ("Cold Like That") off of Garth Brooks’ Man Against Machine album.
