The Most-Added Singles at Country Radio for February 2, 2015

Kenny Chesney & Grace Potter’s “Wild Child” leads the way this week.

“Wild Child,” Kenny Chesney’s latest collaboration with Grace Potter, leads the list for The Most-Added Singles at Country Radio for February 2, 2015. The song scored 61 adds in it’s first official week for a total that’s over 90 to date. Kip Moore’s new single "I’m To Blame” is next with 44 adds in its first official add date with Parmalee’s “Already Callin’ You Mine” at 40 in its first week too. at #3 is Keith Urban & Eric Church’s well-timed duet “Raise ‘Em Up.” The single, which follows #1 hits for both artists is sure to be a springtime favorite. It’s approaching 80 adds after just a few weeks on the charts. Rounding out the Top 5 is Brad Paisley’s “Crushin’ It” single, a smart third single choice from the Moonshine In The Trunk album.

Tim McGraw’s fourth single from his Sundown Heaven Town album release “Diamond Rings & Old Bar Stools” feels like vintage McGraw and is poised to be one of 2015’s massive hits. the same can be said for Miranda Lambert’s “Little Red Wagon” at #7, Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” and Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” at #8 (tied). All three songs are poised for massive success with perhaps “Girl Crush” and it’s torch balladry being the biggest (but really welcome) surprise of the bunch. Rounding out the Top 10 are A Thousand Horses with “Smoke” and Frankie Ballard’s “Young And Crazy.” The latter single is the third single from Ballard’s Sunshine & Whiskey album.

Matt, is Garth Brooks "Mom" still climbing the radio AirPlay charts or has it stalled? Did it ever break into the top 30? I didn't think so but thought I'd ask.

This song, WC, is not anywhere near as good as You and Tequila....but it will fly up the charts like everything Kenny releases does. Til It's Gone was just a blah song but went to #1 just like this song will. I truly love Raise Em Up a lot. Keith and Eric singing together is great. Hope the song does good for them. It has a great message. Cannot stand Brad Paisley's song. Just don't care for his type of singing or most of his music. Love Tim's new song. Glad he's going to be singing Glen Campbell's song at the Oscar. He will do a good job. Rest of the songs on the chart are just so-so. Nothing really exciting! Homegrown topic has been sung to death.

'crushin it' is not a great song but it is funny to listen to and I lIke a lot its instrumentation (we have a fiddle, which is really weird in today's country!). as for his music, I don't see how you can dislike songs such as Waitin on a Woman, Old Alabama, When I Get Where I'm Going, Water or He didn't Have to Be. and hi
