Big Machine Records Signs Waterloo Revival

The Austin, Texas natives are set to release their debut single to Radio in February.

It’s the time of the year when record labels announce new artists signed to their rosters and that trend continues with Big Machine Records new duo Waterloo Revival.

Their debut single “Hit The Road” (Listen Here) is already spinning at SiriusXM’s “The Highway” (Buy at iTunes) and with that Waterloo Revival’s George Birge (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Cody Cooper (Guitar/Background Vocals) moved to Nashville from their hometown of Austin, Texas. The duo started working together at the age of 15 and a decade later, that hard work payed off with their record deal with Big Machine Records. The duo of Waterloo Revival was born with high-energy live shows and a combination of their southern rock influences and the Nashville polish. Hit The Road" was produced by award-winning producer Ken Tondre and written by the duo with Dustin James & James Carter. The duo is managed by TKO Artist Management (Toby Keith, Mac McAnally, JT Hodges).

“We’ve had such a great time performing for the people of Austin but are so excited to take the next step musically with our move to Nashville,” said George. “It is a dream come true to work with Scott and the team at Big Machine. We are so thankful for their support with 'Hit The Road' and can’t wait for more fans to hear it."

Added Cody, “The love that we have received for the single has been so overwhelming. We’ve worked hard to make music that the fans will enjoy and are excited to share more soon.”

“Hit The Road” will impact Country radio on February 9 and Waterloo Revival is currently working on more new music for their debut album.

“’Hit The Road’ hit me over the head first on listen – great voice, great melody, great song." expressed Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta.
