Marc Broussard Scores Career-Best Billboard Chart Debut

The genre-bending singer/songwriter celebrates 10th year of career with new album, tour and career-best successes.

10 years into his career and Marc Broussard is earning some of the biggest praise in his career. Well-known for his soulful blend of Rock, Blues, Soul and Country into what has become his signature, hard-to-classify sound. Perhaps still best-known to the average fan for his 2005 hit “Home,” which became popular after he performed the song on a benefit concert for his home state of Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina hit.

Since then, Broussard has grown into the confident singer/songwriter that he is, and it’s helped him place his latest album A Live Worth Living higher than he’s ever placed any album in the Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart.

Broussard has long been praised for his strong live shows and according to All Music, “Broussard’s voice has always been his signature, but this time out it’s his songs — not his showmanship - that do the talking”

The singer is set to hit the road this fall and tour dates can be viewed below.
