With stops in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dayton, Ohio and Charleston, West Virgina, Brad Paisley's Beat This Winter Tour came to an end this past weekend with the superstar's dynamic show wrapping in his home state. Continue on here to see what awards West Virginia had for Paisley as the tour concluded!

While most of us are ready to see winter come to an end, some are sad ... but more about the fact that the end of winter means the end of Brad Paisley's Beat This Winter Tour.

Paisley brought the trek to an end this past weekend with shows in Ft. Wayne, IN, Dayton, Ohio and Charleston, WV.

Backstage at the show in Charleston, Paisley, a native of Glen Dale, WV, was honored by being presented the Distinguished West Virginian Award by Senate President Jeff Kessler and Michael Lipton, Director of the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame. The Distinguished West Virginian Award was created to honor those who have contributed significantly to West Virginia or West Virginians and have brought positive attention to the state. It honors those who excel in their field and have achieved national recognition; it is the highest honor that can be awarded by the Governor.

Next up for Paisley is his overseas adventure where he will play shows throughout Europe for the C2C festival in Dublin, Ireland on March 15 and London, England on March 16, followed by dates in Stavanger and Oslo, Norway and Gotenberg and Stockholm, Sweden.

Paisley is expected to make his summer tour announcement in the coming weeks.
