Miranda Lambert had the town buzzing last week following the announcement of nominees for the 2014 ACM Awards.

Lambert walked away leading the race with a total of seven nominations, including Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.

“I’m beside myself about the ACM nominations,” she said following the news. “Every single time I see my name on any ballot, I still get butterflies and can't believe sometimes that this is my life. Especially being nominated for Entertainer of the Year! As a female artist, it has been a long time goal for me to be in this category. And such great company too! I work hard on my craft and my art, and to be nominated alongside these incredible artists that are my friends and peers, means the world to me. The road is my other home and the band and crew are my family. So I share this nomination proudly with them! All the miles have paid off! Cheers y'all! Girl power!”

Her nominations also include Single, Song and Video of the Year for her chart topping, platinum selling “Mama’s Broken Heart.” She’s up for two awards in the Vocal Event of the Year category which includes the chart-topping duet with Keith Urban, “We Were Us,” and for her collaborative vocals on the smash hit song by her hubby Blake Shelton (“Boys ‘Round Here”).

The 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 6 on CBS at 8:00 PM ET.
