“When you move to Nashville wanting to be an artist, all you can ever hope for is for a label to take interest and finally offer you a record deal,” says Swindell on a personal YouTube video to his fans after giving teasers about some exciting news coming soon via his social media websites. “So everybody that follows me on Twitter and all my buddies and just fans out there that have been asking what this new is. I’ve been waiting on the right time to tell you guys, and I’ve asked my manager and record label every day since I’ve got my deal ... I’ve told them ‘I wanna tell my fans, I wanna tell my fans.’ This is my chance to tell you guys that I have signed my record deal and I am a brand new artist on Warner Bros. It was such a tough decision, but I know I’ve made the right one.”

Swindell joins country superstars such as Faith Hill, Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Jana Kramer, Hunter Hayes and THE FARM with the Warner Bros. family. "Chillin' It" has offically been sent to Country Radio and has sold over 125,000 copies and scored the #1 slot on SiriusXM The Highway's weekly Top 30 countdown.
