"Bring On The Rain" hit maker Jo Dee Messina has been involving her fans from the start as she prepares to release her first independent album after having left Curb Records last year. She successfully raised over $100,000 to fund the project via Kickstarter.com, while allowing fans to choose songs to be included on the album.
Now the fans get to have a say once again in making another important decision - choosing which song will be sent to radio as the album's lead single.
Messina has expressed that she wishes to introduce the new album with a fun, up-tempo song. She has performed new songs at recent live shows and is now giving concertgoers the chance to offer feedback via social media on which song should be Messina's new single. Top contenders include "Woman's Rant" and "Peace Sign."
“For years I’ve had people asking for certain songs to be released, but had no control over the singles. Now that have the opportunity, I want to let the fans to choose the single. After all, they made this record possible—it’s their album!” says Messina.
