Bobby Pinson And Friends Celebrate "Sing For Your Supper" First Anniversary in Nashville

In a city where songwriters are king, it's still hard to keep weekly gigs at clubs in bars around town going yet that's exactly what Bobby Pinson has done with his weekly shows at Lucy's Country Cafe/The Blue Bar in Nashville Tennesee. Read on to see the highlights of the first anniversary party here!

Nashville's hit songwriter Bobby Pinson gathered some of his fellow songwriter/artists Wednesday night (February 6) in Nashville to celebrate the one-year anniversary since opening his new restaurant, Lucy's Country Café by throwing an all-star lineup for his weekly Songwriter series, "Sing for Your Supper."

Wade Hayes, Daryle Singletary, Andy Griggs, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Gwen Sebastian, Leith Loftin, Pinson's new band Hwy NOIZ and many more each took the stage throughout the evening to play for the packed room of fans and industry peers who came out to support the special occasion.

Hayes, who recently beat his battle with stage IV colon cancer, looked amazing and reminded the audience of what an incredible singer/songwriter he is, playing some of his early hits like "Old Enough to Know Better." He closed his set out with an emotional performance of his newest hit, "Is It Already Time," which chronicles his roller coaster of feelings from when he first found out about his diagnosis.

Griggs also moved the audience to tears in his set with his heart-tugging new single, "20 Little Angels," which he penned with Pinson about the recent shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. Pinson, along with Rebecca Lynn Howard, joined Griggs onstage for the memorable performance.

Singletary blew everyone away with his voice, which without a doubt sets the bar for any and every aspiring singer in this town. He performed hits such as "I Let Her Lie," "Amen Kind of Love," and of course, "Too Much Fun."

Other standout moments in the evening was a powerful rendition of Rebecca Lynn Howard's "Forgive" and the preview of what's to come from Hwy NOIZ (also featuring Halfway To Hazard's Chad Warrix) later this year.

Sing for Your Supper takes place every Wednesday night from 7-whenever from Lucy's Country Cafe, located at 1911 Broadway in Nashville. The restaurant is also open Monday-Friday from 11AM-3PM for lunch.
