Carrie Underwood's willingness to sing about some of life's darker subjects (abuse on "Blown Away") than most her peers have been willing to sing about has been met with cricital praise and a lot of fan approval. Therefore the decision to release "Two Black Cadillacs," a second consecutive single with dark themes, was met with critical praise and left many wondering about just where Carrie Underwood's video treatment would take the dark tale.
"Two Black Cadillacs" is about a story line of two women who were done wrong by a man, and it's dark, it's stormy and it's dramatic," says Carrie Underwood. "The first time they meet is at the funeral and this is the dark story of that meeting."
