Kenny Chesney has started off 2013 on a very nice note. Before he kicks off his No Shoes Nation Tour in March, Chesney has a bit of celebrating to do with the recent certifications of several tunes, as well as his Greatest Hits II album. Following the platinum-certification for his recent chart-topper "Come Over," he has been given the news of the platinum sales for his Greatest Hits II album and gold certifications for both hit singles "The Good Stuff" and "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" from his quadruple platinum album of the same name.   “You hope when you record a song, it’s something the fans can live inside,” says Chesney. “I’ve always tried to pick songs that felt true to who I am, how I’ve lived … or the people around me. I think that since where I come from isn’t so different from anywhere else, it’s a safe bet other people have lived this stuff, too.

“If people can see themselves in these songs … especially ones like ‘No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems’ and ‘The Good Stuff,' then I can feel good about it not just being a moment, but a truth," continues Chesney. "As a songwriter, that’s what you’re reaching for, and as a fan, it’s everything about what the songs that have marked my life meant to me.” Chesney’s No Shoes Nation Tour will launch on March 16 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. The trek will include the Zac Brown Band, Eli Young Band, Kacey Musgraves and Eric Church on select dates, and will hit major stadiums, amphitheaters and arenas across the country. Chesney’s next single, "Pirate Flag," penned by hit songwriter David Lee Murphy and Ross Cooperman, will impact country radio on January 31.
