It's even better when that talent comes out with the kind of song that is such a no-brainer for country radio that the new talent can break through. Maggie Rose is that kind of talent and her single "I An't Your Mama" is that kind of song.
Quite simply, "I Ain't Your Mama" is fun. It has a groovy melody, a spitfire kind of verse structure and a sassy vocal delivery that a song like this requires. Maggie Rose's sound is youthful, energetic and compares favorably to other up and coming artists like Edens Edge and Jana Kramer.
Not only does "I Ain't Your Mama" plant an instant ear worm in your ear but the lyric is relatable to any woman who has ever had a man try to use her as his 'mama replacement,' hoping that she'll do everything for him instead of doing some of his own chores himself. Add the songs 2 minute and thirty second time frame and you have a single that should be too hard for country radio to ignore.
