Trace Adkins's Backing Band Involved in Fatal Crash

Trace Adkins cancelled a performance this past Sunday night in Florida, a day after a pickup truck crossed the center line of a two-lane highway and crashed into a tour bus carrying Trace Adkins’ tour band and crew.  The head-on accident killed the two passengers of the truck while injuring five of Adkins’ band members.  Later Saturday night, Trace and some of his band members, those uninjured in the crash performed an abbreviated set and took time to mourn the loss of the two men who died in the crash.  Sunday night’s concert did go on as scheduled with Martina McBride and Sarah Buxton performing longer sets.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this tragic accident, Trace Adkins and his band members.
