Jason Michael Carroll Parts Ways With Arista

After two albums and four hit singles, Jason Michael Carroll stated via twitter that he and his label home of four years, Arista Records/Sony Music Nashville have agreed to part ways.  Carroll also stated that he will head into the studio to record a 3rd album soon.

After two albums and five hit singles with Arista Nashville, Jason Michael Carroll stated today via twitter that he has agreed to depart the label.  He tweeted the following, breaking news to his fans:

Unfortunately, Arista & I have decided to go our seperate ways! They called & said that they would be moving forward without me! He then quickly followed that up with "I'm glad 2 have had the opportunity 2 be there for the last 4 years & am grateful 4 them giving me the chance 2 connect with all of my Honky Tonk Friends!"

Carroll then went on to say that he's preparing to head into the studio in March to record his third album for an as-yet-unknown label.  With a solid track record at radio with two Top 10 hits and three other Top 25 hits these past four years, many other labels in Nashville have gotta be thinking that he's got a lot going for him with a strong baritone voice, solid songwriting skill and a charming personality, to say nothing of his looks.   I can think of a couple of labels that could snatch him up pretty quickly but will keep them to myself for now.  What do you think? Do you think he'll get a new record label rather eaisly?  Let us know!
