Free Music In the New People Magazine featuring Alan Jackson and Other Country Stars

Every so often People Magazine comes out with a special edition that focuses on country music and for their holiday issue for 2009 they focus on whatr stars are thankful for while also giving fans the ability to download 10 free new tunes.

In their latest issue of the special country music edition of People Magazine, Alan Jackson and other country stars share their holiday experiences and give thanks for all the great things that are in their life and the 10 things that give them joy in their life, such as their 30-year marriage and their children.  Carrie Underwood gives thanks to her childhood teacher and mentor while Joe Nichols gives thanks for his sobriety after addiction nearly ruined his career and marriage. Zac Brown of his namesake band gives thanks for his stellar year in 2009, which in addition to becoming a star includes the birth of his daughter; “Shelly just gives me strength to be the man that I need to be.  Nothing will ever be better than what I have.  I know that.”  Brown adds, “Even if I go camping, I wanna go home so I can get up with my girls.”          

The issue also includes features about Martina McBride, the story behind Dierks Bentley's latest hit, "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" and how stars give back during the holiday season. Finally, the magazine gives a gift guide before sharing a few favorite deserts from the stars along with recipies and five favorite holiday sides.  The magazine is available starting this weekend at newstands everywhere.
