Kid Rock Joins Zac Brown Band for Georgia Theater Benefit Tomorrow

Today The Zac Brown Band announced that rock star Kid Rock will be joining them and other artists including Little Big Town, Kellie Picker and Joey + Rory in a benefit for the Georgia Theater, which burned down recently.  The show is October 30, 2009.

Kid Rock will join Zac Brown Band at the Georgia Theatre benefit concert on Friday, Oct. 30 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Kellie Pickler, Little Big Town, Joey and Rory, Shawn Mullins, Oliver Wood, Angie Aparo and Aslyn will also be joining the popular band on stage as they support the Georgia Theater, which was burned down earlier this year and was the first venue the Zac Brown Band played in.

A DVD of the evening's performances, directed by Darren Doane (who also shot the band's Toes video), will go on sale nationwide in spring 2010. All concertgoers will also receive a free copy of the DVD as a gift for purchasing tickets.

To raise some additional money for The Georgia Theatre Rehabilitation Fund, the evening will also auction the following items:
Signed guitars, one each from Kenny Chesney, Dave Matthews, Marshall Tucker, John Mayer and Styx;
Signed fiddle from Charlie Daniels;
A pair of signed boots and photograph from Darius Rucker;
Two tickets and a signed Halloween poster from Wide Spread Panic to their New Year's Eve bash at Atlanta's Philips Arena;
Four tickets with meet & greet passes from Colt Ford for his upcoming show at South Carolina's Florence Civic Center on Nov. 21;
A cabin for two on the 2010 "Sailing Southern Ground" cruise;
A two-hour training session in LA with UFC World Champion Rampage Jackson; and
Prints from the Gibson Guitars 50th anniversary Hatch Show.

Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster and cost $100.
