In news that has shocked the world, Pop star and icon Michael Jackson has passed away suddenly from a heart attack this afternoon. In this time of Facebook and Twitter, artists from all genres have taken to Twitter to pay their respects to the loss of a music icon that transcended any genres. First reported by TMZ, the King of Pop was declared dead shortly upon arrival to the hospital in Los Angeles.
