In today’s modern world, we can often lose sight of the simplicity of just letting things be as they are. Canyon City (Paul Johnson) is here to give us that simplicity in an inspired cover of the classic Beatles tune. The song, from Canyon City’s Dear Earth, Love, Moon, an album out October 21. The album is less autobiographical than his previous releases (as this cover illustrates) but that’s entirely the right path as Canyon City works to give a record which works as a conversation between the Earth and the Moon and has entirely unique conversations which allow the listener the chance to listen to brilliantly created messages over luscious melodies. The album was recorded and produced by Johnson at his home studio in Colorado.
