44th CMA Awards Nominees

Today the Country Music Association announced the second round of performers for their 44th Annual CMA Awards Show.  Among the performers announced were Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, the hosts for the program scheduled for November 10 on ABC TV.

We always expected her to garner quite a few nominations for the 44th CMA Awards show that takes place on November 10, 2010 but nobody really expected her to score nine and be a double nominee in three categories.  Check out who else surprised us this year.

The first set of CMA Award nominations have been announced today. The video, single, song, group, duo and best new artist categories were announced today on the ABC's Good Morning America.  The remaining nominations will be announced Wednesday in Nashville.
