It has been reported today that Taylor Swift has joined BMI in a lawsuit against a small little Idaho sports bar called The Sports Cellar.  The lawsuit claims that the bar hasn't payed BMI for the right to play their songwriter's songs over their speakers. Can you believe this?

Taylor Swift seemingly shocked the country music world when she took home the award for Female Vocalist of the Year at last night's 43rd CMA Awards.  The 19 year-old superstar broke records once again by taking that award and three more awards.

Thanks to the new Fearless [Platinum Edition], Taylor Swift has moved back to the top of the Nielsen SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart. With this feat all but given last week, how did the rest of the latest releases from country superstars shape up this week?

Country icon George Jones recently told the associated press his thoughts on the current state of country music and particularly the two divas racking up all the sales and awards, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.  Do his thoughts equate bitterness or true concern?

Taylor Swift today achieved something no other artist has achieved this decade. Her self-titled debut album for Big Machine Records broke a record on the billboard charts for most time spent on it.  She also achieved milestones on iTunes with her new follow-up "platinum" set.
