Now here's an unexpected surprise. Until today, I didn't know of Jordyn Shellhart. Only 15, the singer/songwriter has released this acoustic  debut album and if it's any indication of future music, look out because a star is on the rise.

Country superstar Brad Paisley and his partners in Sea Gayle Music, Frank Rogers and Chris Dubois, have partnered with Sony Nashville to start the new imprint Sea Gayle Records.  Sea Gayle Records' first artist is Sea Gayle's staff writer Jerrod Niemann.

Pat Green scored a Top 10 hit with "Let Me" and then followed it up with "Country Star" which was slowly but surely rising up the charts yet Pat and his label have decided to change courses and issue "What I'm For" as a single.  Was it a smart decision?
