Listen to a classic hit of the 1990s.

Here's a rundown of all of this month's releases so far. Included are albums from Dale Watson, Johnny Reid, Bryan Clark, Adam Gregory, Daily & Vincent, Ramblin Jack Elliott and big mainstream stuff from Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean.

After a slow trickle of new country releases over the first 10 weeks of the year, 2009's release cycle has kicked into full-gear with the March 24, 2009 release of New albums from Martina McBride, John Rich and Eric Church.  Do these albums live up to their advance billing?

Tuesday night, American Idol's remaining eleven contestants performed songs from members of the Grand Ole Opry.  Most of the songs chosen were recorded in the last fifteen to twenty years and while most of the performaces were 'good,' were they 'country?'

Carrie Underowod has long admired Randy Travis and after releasing "I Told You So" as a single to radio, she and Randy have released this version, their duet of the song Travis wrote and took to the top of the charts in 1987.  They'll sing it on American Idol too.

Randy Travis has sold over 21 million albums, scored 22 #1 hits and now has released "I Told You So: The Ultimate Hits of Randy Travis," a two-disc collection that features all of Randy's hits from his Warner Brothers Records catalogue.  To celebrate this release, Roughstock has partnered with Warner Brothers to offer three fans the chance to win this album.

Carrie Underwood has repeatedly stated that she loves old country songs and now she's put her money where her mouth is by releasing this song, her updated take on Randy Travis' self-penned hit from 1988.  Does she do enough to make it her own?
