For one of their tourstops as co-headliners of CMT On Tour 2009, Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser played a four hour set of country music for a loyal, rowdy batch of country music fans at the Tacoma, WA-based Emerald Queen Casino.

With "Boots On" having helped Randy Houser gain CMA Award nominations, the Universal Records South artist recently went into the studio to record the follow-up of his debut album Anything Goes.  Will this song, the first single of that follow-up, be a hit too?

It was another strong week at retail for country music as Reba McEntire's Keep On Loving You gave the genre its third chart-topping week, after the Number One debuts of Sugarland's Live On The Inside and George Strait's Twang.  How did the rest of the chart shake out?

Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson collectively announced today that they were partering up for a 30 city fall tour for CMT's 2009 edition of "CMT on Tour."  Houser and Johnson are longtime friends and co-writers and both released critically acclaimed albums last year.

After gaining a lot of credit for his debut single "Anything Goes" and now he is ready to show off a different side with his new single "Boots On."  With a melody that dances in the rockier side of country, Houser's strong vocal steers the song right into country. But is it any good?
