After becoming the first 'rock/pop' artist to cross-over and reach the top of the charts since the 1980s, Darius Rucker has certainly smashed through preconceived notions on what a talented artist can do with the right song and team behind him.  Rucker returns with a thoughtful song but will it find the same success as the previous single?

It's always interesting when a successful record label launches another record label and that's exactly what has happened when Lyric Street Records announced today that they've created a second label Imprint in Carolwood Records.  While no artist announcements were made, it's fun to speculate what the label will do.

Surpises come everyday and that's what happened upon listening to Alex Woodard's self-titled album.  Expecting something more rock than country, I was plesantly surprised with the amount of country that was present on the disc.  Standout tracks include "Beautiful Now" "Older," and "Reno."  While those are great tracks there is more to like about this Adrenaline Music release.
