Blessed with one of Country music's best voices, Trace Adkins nonetheless often has to release silly songs to radio in order to get airplay.  Thankfully this song isn't a silly song.  But will radio play it, particularly with its simple melody and lyric?

Known to fans everywere for rock-infused hits like "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and an appearance last year on "Celebrity Apprentice,"  Adkins has certainly earned a reputation for the hard-eged country but it's the ballads where he really shines, as is often the case on "X."

Trace Adkins has strung together a medley of hits since his first album came out thirteen years ago. In that time Adkins has released his fair share of songs that weren't all that memorable or quickly came and gone from the minds of radio listeners. "Muddy Water" is the first single from his upcoming album. Will it succumb
