Coming seemingly out of nowhere, Decca Records' One Flew South released this song as their debut single earlier in the year.  While barely a Top 50 single,this song still was Rougshtock's 24th most favorite singles of 2008. 

A popular live act around Texas, Hayes Carll moved from the independent ranks to major label status with his "Trouble In Mind" album on Lost Highway Records.  This single was his first release from the album and it certanly is worthy of being one of the year's best.

A critical darling, Lucinda Williams has practically owned the female 'alt-country' market for the last decade.  "Little Honey," her fifth release this decade after only two during the 1990's, finds Lucinda singing about the way true love has altered her perspective on relationships. Did this new perspective help or hinder her career?
