Yesterday afternoon it was announced by George Strait and Lee Ann Womack that Lee Ann would be joining his tour with superstar Reba McEntire.  The tour, which starts in January 2010 at Baltimore's "First Mariner Center ends in April with a date in Des Moines, IA.

While Lee Ann Womack has scored critical success with her last two albums There's More Where That Came From and Call Me Crazy, the songstress hasn't scored much success at radio.  Will she return to the top of the charts with her version of this popular song?

Here's Lee Ann Womack with a pretty performance of a self-penned track from her latest album "Call Me Crazy."

While mainstream country has seemingly gotten further and further away from its roots, it's always refreshing to hear a singer of Lee Ann Womack's caliber on the radio.  With this song, she has returned some tradition to the charts, and onto our year-end best-of list.

Lee Ann Womack scrapped a whole album deciding that she was recording it just to record something.  After taking some time off, she returned with "Call Me Crazy" an album which takes it's title from a lyric in the lead single "Last Call."  Is the album as interesting as the cover art?

It's that time of the week again, it's time for the Soundscan chart numbers.  With 176,414 copies sold, Kenny Chesney's "Lucky Old Sun" Landed on top. While it was a great week for Kenny, John Michael Montgomery's return netted him the less-than stellar place of 172 with "Time Flies.
