On The Charts: September 3, 2008

The latest Soundscan numbers are out and once again Kid Rock finds himself high on the charts with his nearly year old (non digitally released) album.  The new releases last week included Jimmy Wayne, The Lost Trailers, Jason Boland & The Stragglers and the Now Country compilation.  How did it all go down? read more to find out.

Kid Rock - All Summer Long

Kid Rock hit paydirt with "All Summer Long" as the song has continued to rise to the top of multiple radio charts. He's also seen his nearly year-old album "Rock N Roll Jesus" continue an unlikely rise back up the Hot 200 albums chat, largely because his songs aren't available for download in the USA. The version of "All Summer Long" on iTunes and other digital outlets is NOT Kid Rock.

On The Charts: August 13

Heidi Newfield lead the pack of new releases at country radio this week with her solo debut "What Am I Waiting For" landing at #2 on the country chart while Keith Anderson's "C'mon" landed third. Sugarland continued to lead the pack with "Love on the Inside."
