With a string of hits like "Alyssa Lies," "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead," "Hurry Home" and Where I'm From," Jason Michael Carroll is certainly off to a great start in his career.  For the release of his next album, he's partnered with Cracker Barrel for an exclusive release.

After parting ways with Arista Nashville, Jason Michael Carroll released a well-made Holiday EP last year and now he returns with his first single for his own label, Stray Records.  Take a listen to "Numbers" here.

Jason Michael Carroll has scored a few hits including "Alyssa Lies" and "Where I'm From" in his career yet he still was let go of his record deal.  His first independent release is this holiday EP does it suggest a future that's still bright?

After two albums and four hit singles, Jason Michael Carroll stated via twitter that he and his label home of four years, Arista Records/Sony Music Nashville have agreed to part ways.  Carroll also stated that he will head into the studio to record a 3rd album soon.

The Country Music Association announced today that superstar Kenny Chesney will close out the 4 day CMA Music Festival with a set at LP Field Sunday night.  The CMA Also included a rundown of all the events happening during the 4 day Festival in Downtown Nashville.
