Surpises come everyday and that's what happened upon listening to Alex Woodard's self-titled album.  Expecting something more rock than country, I was plesantly surprised with the amount of country that was present on the disc.  Standout tracks include "Beautiful Now" "Older," and "Reno."  While those are great tracks there is more to like about this Adrenaline Music release.

Here's the first single "Little Toy Gun" from California folk-rock act honeyhoney.  The video was directed by and stars Kiefer Sutherland, the co-owner of the band's record label Ironworks Records (Which partnered with UniversalRepublic).

Griffin House is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter who often is classified as a Roots-Rock artist.  "I Remember" is one of his best songs.  It's from his record "Flying Upside Down" on Nettwerk Records.
