Eric Church has many people excited.  After a wonderful debut album that failed to find much of a home at radio, Capitol Records showed faith and released "Carolina" earlier this year.  Buzz is building and Eric recently spoke to Vernell Hackett about it.

With a style that combines the 'grit' of the Outlaw era with modern lyrics, Eric Church has managed to score with audiences without much radio success. Will this album change his fortunes or is it more of the same?

Martina McBride scored another #1 debut on the Country Albums Chart and landed the 10th spot on the charts overall with her new album "Shine."  Following Martina on the charts this week were John Rich, Eric Church and Dolly Parton with their latest releases, respectively.
