Jimmy Wayne returned to the airwaves this year after a four year hiatus in a big way with the polarizing "Do You Believe Me Now."  Featuring an ultra-modern melodic sound, the song certainly made people talk and that was enough for it to be our 26th favorite song of the year.

In the music business, a break of six months can have detrimental consequences on your career.  But Jimmy Wayne, an eternal optimist, didn't give up and foproceeded to score his first career #1 single after four years off the charts.  "I Will" is his next single but will it be able to find similar success?

Since the release of his last album over four years ago, Jimmy Wayne has lost one record deal and saw a couple of singles not chart as expected before "Do You Believe Me Now" charted earlier this year. The single has done so well that Jimmy and his new label, The Valory Music Company, have named his sophomore album after it. While firmly a pop-based country album, the record also features deeply personal lyrics directly from Wayne's life.

According to today's mediabase chart that follows airplay, Blake Shelton has jumped into the Top spot on the charts with his cover with the Michael Buble' song "Home" while his leading lady Miranda Lambert has finally had a single reach the Top 10 with "Gunpowder & Lead."

This is the first single from Jimmy's new album due out on the Valory Music Company label.
