It's that time of the week again, it's time for the Soundscan chart numbers.  With 176,414 copies sold, Kenny Chesney's "Lucky Old Sun" Landed on top. While it was a great week for Kenny, John Michael Montgomery's return netted him the less-than stellar place of 172 with "Time Flies.

After becoming the first 'rock/pop' artist to cross-over and reach the top of the charts since the 1980s, Darius Rucker has certainly smashed through preconceived notions on what a talented artist can do with the right song and team behind him.  Rucker returns with a thoughtful song but will it find the same success as the previous single?

It's the last week of summer yet it feels like the fall release schedule is upon us as high profile releases are starting to rapidly appear on store shelves.  Darius Rucker, Kristy Lee Cook, Eric Durrance, Eli Young Band and Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicolson are out of the gates this week.

On the cusp of a #1 song with his debut country single "Don't Think I Don't Think About It," Darius Rucker, better known as the singer of some band named "Hootie," has certainly made an impression with county music fans.  "Learn To Live" is full of interesting melodies but are the melodies and Darius' distinct vocals enough to make the album a smashing success?

Darius Rucker is better known as the lead singer of the roots rock band Hootie & the Blowfish. Many actually thought his name was Hootie.
