First ever "Tweet & Greet" Hosted By CMA During Aug 31 CMA Music Fest Telecast

The CMA will host its first-ever live Twitter feed on ABC.com, Monday, Aug. 31 (8:00 - 11:00 PM/ET), during "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock," airing on the ABC Television Network. Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins, Reba & Kellie Pickler are among the artists tweeting.

 

Kenny Chesney To Close CMA Music Festival Concert

The Country Music Association announced today that superstar Kenny Chesney will close out the 4 day CMA Music Festival with a set at LP Field Sunday night.  The CMA Also included a rundown of all the events happening during the 4 day Festival in Downtown Nashville.

Reba, Taylor Swift to Sign Autographs and Meet Fans at CMA Music Festival

Reba and Taylor Swift were recently announced as participants in the 2009 CMA Music Festival. Julianne Hough, Montgomery Gentry, LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, and Wynonna will also meet their fans in the Greased Lightning Fan Fair Hall this year.

CMA Music Festival Announces More Performers

Today the CMA announced the additions of Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and Wynonna to the nightly performance schedule of the CMA Music Festival events at Nashville's LP Fieldfor the event on June 11-14, 2009.  They join the numerous performers already announced.
