1/4 of the Top 80 albums on the SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart this week belong to country music, once again proving the strength of country music and its ability to sell music when so many artists are struggling to do so. Find out how all the stars fared this week.

As to be expected, Brad Paisley scored Country music's highest chart debut this week with his latest album "American Saturday Night."  While country music experienced another solid week, How Did Tanya Tucker's "My Turn" fare this week?

While it tumbled from the top spot to third on the SoundScan Top 200 Albums chart, Rascal Flatts' "Unstoppable" album remained on top of the Country Albums chart while the album's first single "Here Comes Goodbye" tops the singles chart.  How did everyone else do?

With last week's ACM Awards helping to guide the way for other releases, Rascal Flatts scored their 4th #1 spot on the SoundScan Hot 200 albums sales char this week with "Unstoppable" selling over 350,000 copies while Jason Aldean's "Wide Open" sold 100k to land 4th.

For the second time in three years a Country music artist has topped Neilsen SoundScan's year-end, all-genre cumulative album sales chart.  Rascal Flatts did so in 2006 and Teen Queen Taylor Swift takes home the honor this year, beating out the likes of Lil' Wayne.

Heidi Newfield lead the pack of new releases at country radio this week with her solo debut "What Am I Waiting For" landing at #2 on the country chart while Keith Anderson's "C'mon" landed third. Sugarland continued to lead the pack with "Love on the Inside."

The first week of August 2008 is a week Sugarland will never forget. In addition to seeing their album rise to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, the duo's single "All I Want To Do," which Bobby Pinson co-wrote, topped the Billboard/R&R Hot Country Songs chart as well.
