Here's an in-the-studio performance of "Heart of the Wood."

At the suggestion of friends, Joey+Rory decided to enter CMT's "Can You Duet" despite never really actively singing together.  The husband-and-wife team wound up in the Top 3 of the show and gained a lot of loyal fans in the process. "The Life Of A Song" is their debut album and it showcases the suparstar vocals of Joey paired with her husband's wonderful songwriting.  It sounds perfect but do they have the songs to break through?

Have you ever just met someone and felt like you were long-time friends with them? That's what it felt like when I recently met Joey Martin and Rory Feek, the husband and wife duo known as Joey+Rory. In the first part of a two-part interview, we learn about the reasons behind trying out for the show "Can You Duet."

Joey + Rory are set to release their debut album "The Life Of A Song" on October 28th.  Featuring 12 tracks (7 co-written by Rory), the album was co-produced by Carl Jackson.

With a pure country voice, Joey wowed the judges and the audience while Rory's songwriting and guitar playing equally impressed them.
